About the app
The planned app reads selected measurements from the account owner's Oura account and sends summaries to the owner's chosen Gmail address at 8 a.m., 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. in America/Toronto. The morning summary contains the most sleep and recovery detail. The intended recipient assistant, Toby, may then access those emails through the owner's separate Gmail connection.
The app is under development. No account connections, scheduled delivery or third-party approval are claimed. The public information page does not display the owner's health data.
Privacy policy
Draft for the proposed implementation · October 4, 2026
Purpose and audience. This is a single-user integration operated by the account owner for personal wellness review. It is not offered as a public service. This description must be updated before activation if the actual implementation changes.
Data accessed. With the owner's authorization, the app requests daily sleep, readiness and activity records, sleep-period detail, heart-rate samples, workout and relaxation-session records, sleeping oxygen saturation, stress/restoration, resilience, cardiovascular estimates and bedtime guidance when available. It queries up to 28 prior days to calculate personal comparisons. It does not request personal-info or tag permissions. Reproductive records, tags, free-text workout labels and session mood are not included in reports. Broad provider scopes may return more fields than the report uses; only explicitly selected fields are included.
Use and disclosure. The Python app formats measurements and fixed habit suggestions without calling an AI service. Google Cloud is the proposed hosting and credential-storage provider. Gmail receives the email reports. If the owner connects Gmail to Toby in ChatGPT, OpenAI may process report content under that separate connection and the owner's applicable settings. The intended assistant processing is expressly disclosed here; it is not represented as authorized by Oura. The owner must review applicable provider terms before activation. There is no advertising, sale of data or public health dashboard.
Storage and retention. Health measurements are processed in application memory during a report run rather than deliberately stored in a cloud health database. Account tokens and minimal delivery state are retained in restricted Google Cloud storage until removed by the owner. The draft does not intentionally log health payloads or credentials. Reports remain in the owner's Gmail inbox and sent mail until deleted under Gmail's retention behaviour. Assistant conversation or memory copies, if created, have separate retention governed by that service and the owner's settings. Cloud and account administrators with appropriate access can access the relevant resources. The app does not promise that deleting a token deletes existing email or assistant copies.
Revocation and deletion. The owner can revoke the Oura application in Oura's account controls, revoke Google authorization, pause or delete the cloud schedule and remove the app's cloud credentials and delivery-state records. To remove report copies, the owner must also delete them from Gmail and any assistant conversations or saved memories. Before use beyond the sole owner, a contact method and supported deletion procedure must be added.
Security. The proposed service requires authenticated cloud invocation and uses OAuth rather than account passwords. Permissions are limited to the data needed and Gmail sending. Public registration pages contain no access tokens or health data.
Terms of service
Draft for personal use · October 4, 2026
Use. This app is intended only for its operator's own authorized accounts. It is under development and is not a medical service, clinical monitor, emergency service or public multi-user product.
Reports. Measurements are wearable estimates and may be missing, delayed or revised. Habit suggestions are optional and may not suit the owner. The owner remains responsible for health decisions and for reviewing how they feel alongside available measurements.
Third-party terms. Oura, Google and any assistant provider retain their own terms and privacy policies. This page does not override them or establish permission for a restricted use. Oura's current API agreement contains restrictions on providing API data to AI models and platforms; the intended assistant route needs to be evaluated against those restrictions. This app is independent and does not claim endorsement by those providers.
Availability and warranties. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and third-party services are provided as available without warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, third-party providers are excluded from liability for consequential, special, punitive and indirect damages. No mandatory legal rights are waived.
Stopping use. The owner may stop the schedule, revoke connections and remove the app at any time. Existing report copies require separate deletion from the services where they were stored.
